TOURNAMENT INFORMATION - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

1. PLEASE return your Registration Form and Roster sheet immediately after winning your Regional. You have forty eight hours to confirm your place in the Finals by emailing your entry form then mailing hard copy with payment. All forms and payment must be received by January 2008. You may contact John Mellor at 519-542-3508 by  phone or email sarniasilverstick@sympatico.ca if you have any problems with rosters.

2. Tournament dates will be announced.

3. WE DO NOT PROVIDE BILLETING.

4. Tournament format is a three game round robin in all divisions.

5. Length of games: ATOM - 10 stop 10 stop 15 stop
MIDGET - 10 stop 15 stop 15 stop
Overtime will be played in semi-final and Championship games only.

6. Standings will be based on points. Win = 2 pts. Tie = 1 pts.

7. Each team roster shall not be greater than 25, which include five registered/carded team officials. Register on Tournament Roster. Changes may be made prior to the first game with the Tournament Marshall. Additions cannot be made after completion of your first game.

8. Game roster is nineteen players including two goalies. Players may be substituted between games.

9. Each entrant must provide his or her own insurance in the event of injuries. International Silver Stick Finals will not be held responsible for injuries that occur. We suggest that you have medical authorization or release forms signed by the parents or legal guardians.

10. The SCHEDULE IS FINAL. If tournament officials deem a revision necessary, you will be notified of any TIME OR ARENA CHANGES that effect YOUR TEAM. The names that appear on the schedule represent the REGIONAL.

11. Please be in attendance 40 minutes prior to game time.

12. U.S.A. hockey roster forms with a clearly visible state seal will be required of all U.S. teams. Canadian teams must provide their C.H.A. cards.

13. All teams must present a valid TRAVEL PERMIT from their association prior to their opening game.

14. HOTEL / MOTEL ACCOMMODATIONS are the responsibility of each team. A list of area hotels and motels are included. NOTE: Teams staying in Port Huron, please allow enough time to clear customs and immigration.

15. For your convenience, weekend passes will be available.

16. Referees are governed by the Canadian Hockey Association.

17. Atom / Squirt is a no hit division. This is by OHF/CHA rule.
